January Full Moon Snow Shoe Spirit Hike

January 23rd from 5:30pm to 9:00pm

Let the energy of nature and the full moon replenish you! Enjoy the challenge of a snow shoe hike at night that culminates in a spiritual campfire experience.

This spiritual experience includes:

-A sage ceremony
-Native American flute playing
-A community campfire experience
-Storytelling and lore
-Wilderness skills including:
-One match fire
-Leave No Trace Principles
-North star orientation
-Leave No Trace fire
-Wildlife safety

During the Full Moon Spirit Hike, you will try something new, face the challenge of the night, and laugh with new friends.

Hiking distance: ~3 miles
Difficulty: Intermediate
Cost: Suggested donation of $20 dollars.

Location and Directions:

Follow US-6 W and I-70 W. Take exit 252 (Evergreen) from I-70 W
Turn right onto CO-74 S/Evergreen Pkwy
Go 2.8 mi. Turn right onto Squaw Pass Rd
Go 6.5 mi. Turnout is on the right side
